Adrian Paul Biography

Adrian was born on May 29, 1959, the first of three children to an Italian Mother and a British Father. Adrian's first love was sports and he played soccer in High School and then semi-professionally afterwards. Adrian did do some Shakespeare in school but got his first break as a model when his then girlfriend entered him in the "Could your Boyfriend be a Model Contest."

Adrian won first prize which was a photo shoot and an introduction into one of London's top modeling agencies.  Adrian spent a few years doing runway modeling and then decided to make the move to New York to try his hand at acting. It was a short lived attempt as lack of funds forced him to move back to England.

Shortly afterwards he won the role of Nicolai on the Colby's and thus his acting career kicked into gear. Apart from acting Adrian is also an accomplished dancer/choreographer and Martial artist. Adrian has studied Martial arts for 12 years, recently under the tutelage of Vernon Rietta who also appeared with him in the big screen debut of his popular TV series Character Duncan MacLeod in Highlander:Endgame. 

Since Endgame's release in September of 2000, Adrian has doing more directing (see below)exploring the high tech realm of high definition movies. His Hi-Def Directorial debut is a movie called Hiroken. He also has a series in the works with Lions Gate Productions called Tracker and a new TV movie with the STarz Production company called "A Breed Apart" and he is also developing a film based on the life of the misunderstood 18th century Italian adventurer and scholar Giovanni Giacomo Casanova.
